AO Globe Life was founded in 1982 and is the benefits provider to over 40,000 unions and associations across North America. With the help of the Labor Advisory Board. The company realized that typically 31 days after an employee leaves their job, gets laid off or retires. They can lose all their insurance benefits. The company saw that there was an increasing number of people that could not afford to get a will prepared. As well as many families needed help with estate planning or were struggling to cover final expenses. With this in mind the Family Care Program was created. To fill any gaps in existing employee coverage and to ensure all members have access to permanent benefits.
Our benefits are not in competition with any group benefits already provided though work or outside of work. These benefits are supplemental and are meant to compliment any benefits that your employees may already have.
The enrolment meeting is to customize your individualized program. During the meeting we will complete a financial needs analysis and determine the best coverage options. We will also go over the best practices to set up your legal will kit and estate planning guide.
The overview is designed to educate each team on how the program works. This provides clear step by step details on some of the key areas we discuss during the enrolment session. That way our benefits specialists don't need to re-explain the entire program in each meeting.
